This week, the musical prodigy debuted her cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ “Under The Bridge.” Shortly after, her video caught the attention of RHCP bassist Flea who had a few things to say about the cover.
Now, Bushell is back with her impressive take on the Red Hot Chili Peppers classic “Under The Bridge.” The video, which went live on Feb. 21, features Bushell showing off her musical capabilities. Throughout the video, the 10-year-old brings the song to life by playing bass, guitar, drums and performing vocals. She also uses a Boss 505 Loop Station for the cover.
“I have always LOVED the Red Hot Chili Peppers,” Bushell says. “This is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands.”
Soon after the cover went live, it caught the attention of Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. On Feb. 21, he praised Bushell’s cover in a tweet. As it turns out, Flea has been a big fan of Bushell’s for a while.
