ROT AWAY:
Young metallic hardcore band ROT AWAY is the first band signed to the newly created label Last Mile Records. The debut album from the Danes, entitled “Nothing Is Good”, is scheduled for August 13th, 2021. The first single BAD WAY world premieres April 23th.
Even though ROT AWAY is a relative new band, the members of the band have previously played in bands such as: Hatesphere, Hexis, Northern Blues, Scarred By Beauty & EVRA.

Since their self-titled debut EP, ROT AWAY has undergone major changes in expression and songwriting, which can clearly be heard now on “Nothing Is Good”.

The previous inspirations from bands like Grieved, No Omega, Trap Them etc., can still be found in the music, but the focus on “Nothing Is Good” has shifted to a heavier and more metallic sound, in a larger style than before, with bands such as Brutality Will Prevail, END and Power Trip.

Lyrically, “Nothing Is Good” continues the tales of failure, anger, and honesty, in the same style as previous releases, but where the hatred and failure stops, the realisation begins that there are some things that do not change.

“Nothing Is Good” will be released in digital and LP by Last Mile Records on August 13th, 2021.

“BAD WAY” was produced, engineered and mixed by Peter Hove Olsen at Infinite White Studio. Mastered by Chris Kreutzfeldt (Ghost Iris, Cabal).
