Flying Raccon Suit- Afterglow

Probably my most overdue review in awhile since I’ve been into this album like a year. I have no clue of the release date, but if you been sleepin on Flying Raccon Suit, it’s time to wake the fuck up! Not a track by track, just the ones that grab my feels and attention the most. The opener and title track, with an intro that makes ya think Beat The Red Light is on, is one of my favorite album openers in a long time with the heavier ska core parts surrounding Jess’ ethereal vocals is just fuckin amazing and I dig it every time! Next track is Hive Mind that I love because it sounds like if The Ergs did ska and it takes me back to when I was goin to shows at Plea For Peace at the time I got into that band. Then Driftwood is just an awesome surf ska track that gets me dancin no matter where I’m at and the breakdown that just sounds like NOLA to me. Check the video

Finally Toss and Turn which perfectly exemplifies this band as the amazing emo ska they are and the rhythm, I don’t have the words but it hits a certain way like the horns on the track Ordinary Life from We Are The Union gwt ahold of this one and crank it loud enough thaybthe neighbors are dancin! And pre order their new record coming out on Bad Time Records!
