In Atlanta where they’ve been building cop city protesters have now been rolled up on RICO charges. For those who don’t know RICO stands for Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations. Yes, I did just describe Amerikkka but that’s not the point this time. This law was enacted in 1970 for business and mob beefs to roll up whole organizations for what the country deems to be that level of federal crime. The state of Georgia has a weird special RICO that doesn’t have to meet with federal statutes and able to stay solely in the state. There’s also a lot less rules for what qualifies as RICO and in sentencing. They’re doing this with 90 million dollars from the citizens of Atlanta, ya know instead of pave roads or literally anything that would be the opposite of abusing the local community through increased policing. There’s been very limited coverage on this because by now they know that they’re pulling some sketchy shit and hoping to get a pass for rolling Trump and crew on this same statute. Well you can support thar, but you still need to reconcile how the fuck handing out flyers, being a teacher or representative qualifies you to get caught up in this level of legal fuckery. If that’s not a problem, then you’re just a fuckin fascist.
