Statement regarding Swam and The Karens (rewrite)

I’d like to open with an apology to individuals and entities that I unintentionally added stress onto with the errors from my previous statement. So I fucked up a bit. Due to the mention of a couple of entities it ended up sounding like I made a claim of representation or leadership. Also y’all readers do deserve to kbow exactly what’s up. I totally understand how it got taken that way. To make it plain, I do not represent anyone or thing outside of myself and Punx In Solidarity. So that’s entirely my bad. To clear up the Murder Junkies show. To my knowledge no one at all was trying to get Swam or her band kicked off the show. A few comments were made (mine being the most numerous and loudest) about the show due to personal negative feelings about The Murder Junkies and that entire facet of punk. But that all comes down to down wanting to be at that show. To address the rest. There have been several allegations coming out concerning Swam of The Karens. A punk band here in Western PA. Due to some of these having evidence, I simply stopped talking to her and have been unfollowing the band wherever I’ve been. This seems to have led to me being transphobe jacketed by Swam. This is pretty fucked up considering that I’m non binary and am extremely affirming of anyone who isn’t some sort of fascist. While myself and and Punx In Solidarity are no longer associated with The Karens I do honestly hope Swam gets help because she’s clearly going through a lot.
